Another awesome lecture. I have a question if you don’t mind.
1. At the end of lecture when examples were being looked at, you mention as remedy going in south east direction. This was for someone with venus as depositor of sun in navamsa and placed in 4th from AL in rasi. Is this coz venus has digbala in south east direction? Or it is to do with kendra (4th house) placement from AL?
2. What if the said venus was in navamsa lagna but in rasi was thus:
Venus cojoined mercury in 8th house causing dharmakarmadhipati yoga. The venus is also UL lord placed in 6th from AL in rasi, and UL is cojoiing A6. How to remedy this?
3. Rahu in 4th from moon in navamsa and in 5th cojoined jupiter in rasi would show what please?
4. With respect to planets in 4th from navamsa lagna. Does sun count as a malefic and in terms of internal disease what does it show? ulcers perhaps..i am thinking firey internal disease. Sun is also 8th lord placed in 7th house in rasi.

I have Ju in Sc. in Navamsa, in 4th- parivartana with Mars in %5th. Mars is karesha- how would you interpret mars parivartana effect /health-wise, in particular/. Mars as karesha, strong/due to parivartana/, in 4th in Rashi- I am not sure I can grasp all these factors, how will they affect health?
Mars, Rahu and venus are trine Navasma lagna: please comment on effect of these.

1. Venus gets digbala in the fourth house. So when this happens in the fourth from Arudha lagna bhagya can come by traveling in the direction of Venus - South East. This was a natural remedy for Venus being the dispositor of the Navamsa-Sun.
2. Is Venus the dispositor of the Sun? Why did you choose this?
3. Rahu will show viral problems.. It would have a significant impact if it is involved with the disease causing planets in rasi.
4. Yes sun will if weak/afflicted. It can also cause fevers.

Jupiter is a benefic and will remove the health problems that are caused by Mars. Jupiters placement in Rasi ensures that the remedy comes from medicine or mother (fourth house).
The trines in navamsa show ones abilities. I believe you like art (Venus)?

The good thing is as you have said: Venus in navamsa lagna & dharmakarmadhipati yoga.
Since Venus is UL-lord it can come at the time of marriage. However, because Venus is in the sixth from AL, it shows that when it comes it will cause separation between you and your partner. Its like an opportunity to work which separates you from your loved ones for a while. This of course depends on whether Venus is strong (separation) or weak (denial of separation).
The remedy depends on its strength, so is Venus in own/exaltation sign in rasi or navamsa?
The interpretation of the junction with A6 depends much on this avasta of Venus. If weak it smashes the enemies and gives full rajayoga, marriage etc. If strong… well the opposite.

Traditionally we have been taught that the relative affliction to non-kendra houses in navamsa chart should not be given weightage at par with afflictions to planets and houses in the Rasi or D-1 chart.
What is your comment on it ?

I won’t waste your time by explaining how and why I’ve come here, but certainly my curiosity about life in general and my own path has put me into this never ending cycle/knowledge thirst. So I have a question to ask you. Would be grateful if you could answer it for me. I’ve Capricorn navamsa with Mars and Sun. The 2nd house has ketu, the fourth house has mercury and jupiter, 7th house has saturn, 8th house has rahu (AK–I’m running Rahu mahadasha and saturn antar), 9th house has debilitated venus (it’s retro also) and 11th house has debilitated moon (AmK). My question is whether this debilitated/retro venus in the 9th house of navamsa is an hindrance to my spiritual growth? (ToB: 00.02, DoB: 10 August 1975, Pob: Faridabad, India). Venus is also the ascendant (Taurus) lord.
I understand that venus signifies the skills that I have brought with me in this incarnation, as it’s in a trine of D-9. Since it’s debilitated, I am not sure what those skills are and whether they are a hindrance in my spiritual growth, or those skills will help me grow as human being. Please shed some light on this.

Hi Visti,
Some friends told me that my navamsa should be Kumbha with ketu, as I was born through caesarian. Although I run away from mathematics, my intuition is good.
So with kumbha D-9 asc, debilitated and retro Venus won’t be in the 9th house of navamsa, but in 8th house.

Surely, when we speak of what is important or not important, all of it is quite relative in Jyotish. However, I would like to refute any such idea that houses OTHER than kendra aren’t important.
Otherwise someone will one day say based on this that the Jeevanmuktamsa (Ishta Devata) which is seen from twelfth from Karakamsa isn’t important! Also we see Brahma from the sixth from AK, and Mahesvara from the eighth from AK… these are very important. How about Dharmaavatara Vishnu who is seen from ninth from AK?
These houses are seen both from Atmakaraka (AK) and navamsa lagna, each for different purposes.
Based on the above i would, from a technical point of view, refute any such statement about kendras vs. other houses in navamsa.

Job stability and support in job is seen from the tenth from Moon in rasi. Here the tenth lord from Moon is Jupiter who is joined a node in the eighth house. That surely explains his situation. If possible, encourage him to travel abroad for work.

Birth through forceps is associated with the nodes, but not caesarian birth.
The ninth house from navamsa lagna shows whether you listen to your Guru or not. The actual spiritual growth must be seen in the ninth from Karakamsa.

If we consider the debilitated Venus is 9th house of navamsa, would it mean that I won’t listen to my guru, when/if I’ve one?
Your last point has made me quite hopeful, as I’ve jupiter and mercury in 9th from Karakamsa. I think my interest in jyotish and writing is due to this combination and placement. Have I understood correctly?

Hello. I was reading your above posts with Kat about Venus being with Mercury in the 8th house causing dharmakarmadhipati yoga. I also have the Sun in the 8th house along with them. I was wondering if this is true in my case as well? I also have Venus being 6th from the AL, and the UL is 8th from AL. I am currently single, but would this mean some type of separation from a potential partner in the future? I was told that I would meet my spouse in the next year or two on another forum and I am wondering if we will be separated?

Just curious - in response to Sidharth query - you asked that the concerned person to travel abroad - what is the basis for saying so. What will happen if he travels abroad.
What is the remedy when the lord of 10th from moon joins a node. I’ll appreciate it - if you can explain this further. It sounds interesting.

Ninth lord joined tenth lord forms dharma-karma-adhipati yoga. So this depends on what your lagna is.
Venus in the sixth from AL will give separation from spouse for a period of time, but the reasons can be many, i.e. work, neglect, health, etc. Essentially check if the second house/lord from Upapada is afflicted, as then this distinctly affects the marriage stability.

Planets in 8th, 12th house or Badhaka sthana can be remedied by asking the native to go abroad. In that case i believe tenth lord from Moon was in such a position.
Durga (Rahu) and Ganesha (Ketu) are worshiped in such a case. Further explanation needs further chart placements, i.e. if in fifth house the native makes wrong decisions about career, whereas in tenth house the native is disorganized and unable to finish their work properly.
As these influence the tenth lord form Moon, this will affect the natives sustenance in their profession.

1. Rahu indicates research & developement. It essentially involves planning.
2. See the 11th from UL in Rasi to analyze the sources of income accurately.
3. See 12th from UL in rasi for this.
4. The malefics there aren’t good for finances and you should be careful in their dasas. The benefics are excellent for finances.
