Dear Visti ji,

I have a question on Badhaka. My birth date is may 19, 1964. time is 2:30 pm and birth of place is arua africa. My badhaka and badhalash are in 9th house and has dristy of saturn. How does this effect if any. I am currently running rahu maha dasa and saturn antardasa. If this period is bad for me then please give me remedy to do.

How much do you charge for reading in dollars.

Dear Maniesha, Namaskar.
When Saturn aspects the ninth house or lord, then his dasa/antaradasa can be very bad and give durbhagya. To remedy this the best thing is to wear an amethyst on the left hand - middle finger to calm down this Saturn.
Further worship Shiva or visit the Shankaracharya.

As for my reading fees I don’t change them for dollars, but the exchange rate between dollars and euros would put a full reading of Euro 100.- at USD $ 136.-

Dear Visti-ji,
Thank you for posting this lecture. It helped me understand more about badhaka. I wanted to know when there are more than one planets associated in the badhaka sthana how would one determine how the results manifest. For the following chart

DOB: 30th Nov 77
Time: 11:45 am
Place: 72 E 50′ 00″, 19 N 06′ 00″

The badhaka sthana 11th house (Sc) has 2 grahas Su and Ve. Su is ruler of 8th House and Ve is ruler of 5th and 10th. Badhakesh is Ma debilitated in the 7th House with Mo. How will it affect the native.

Both will affect, but the benefic can remove the badhaka, whilst the Sun is at risk of causing pitribadhaka.

Dear Vistiji,

In my horoscope the lagna is libra and the 11th leo becomes a Badhak sthan .It has 3 malefics Sun,Saturn and Rahu .
Sun is my DK,Saturn is my Gurukaraka and Rahu is my MK .
How will my Sun who is 11th lord in 11th in Devalokamsha also being a badhaka affect my marriage life.
How is saturn influence in this case as I have started Saturn major this april 2007?
Will Rahu as MK in badhaksthan cause grief and illness to mother

Dear Visti Ji,

Namaste. This may seem like a stupid question, so please excuse me if it is. My Badhaka stana is Vrishabha, and hence there may have been some worship of Lakshmi performed in childhood that is now forgotten. Could it have been worship of Gopala instead, since I did worship Him in childhood, and Chandra and Budha are in rapt conjunction in Tula? The only “worship of Lakshmi” I can think of in childhood, is that I was called by a name of Lakshmi until adulthood, so people calling me, unintentionally called Her. Also, Venusian activities such as music and art were more prominant in my childhood than adulthood. Intutively, it seems as if “worship” of the Devata is not only in the form of actual puja or mantras (which are wonderful in themselves), but also in imbibing the positive qualities of the Devata, which, for Lakshmi or Krishna, are the joy and non-judgemental love/Matru Bhava. Is this one way to approach Badhaka?

Your main problem is Kala Amrita Yoga. This needs to be solved first. Your financial problems are related to this, but are really manifesting due to the Curse of Spouse seen in your horoscope. People with Curse of Spouse often suffer financial and health problems, besides marital problems, because of Venus’ natural lordship of the second house.

But, you need to solve the Kalaamrita first which is bringing obstructions in health and also brings secret enemies.

The remedy is to wear a red ruby on your right hand ring finger. This and if you are vegetarian i would recommend seeking initiation of the Mahavidya Matangi.
Further i would advise the worship of Indra for your fifth house.
Everything else is connected to this Kalaamrita yoga. Don’t look for any other remedies before solving this.

Check Upapada for marriage. You should donate/plant eleven trees to an ashram/temple to remedy this Sarpa Badhaka.

I assume you refer to ‘wrong/neglected’ worship as Taurus/Venus is connected to the fifth or ninth houses… is it? Chandra and Budha does show Gopala.

All Mahavidya worship requires strict vegetarianism. Not even egg is allowed… We must not hurt the mothers children.

As for Indra, there is a Sadasaspati-Indra mantra given in the Rg Veda: 1st mandala, 18th Sukta, 6th sloka. Do this.

Thank you for the remedy,you suggested to check the UL.My UL is in Taurus.
I’ve read that the 2nd house from UL decides marriage longevity as well as the happiness.
In my case moon,mars in 2nd from UL in Gemini form chandra mangala yoga .In navamsha ,moon,mars yoga occurs in capricorn

I am feeling some kind of troubles in married life after 3 months of marriage.Why is this even if DK Sun is in benefic vargas and also A7 resides in same 11th house as DK

Will this be a troubled life for me

Dear Visti,

Can we also see badhaka for AL (arudha lagna) in the same way as we see from lagna (viz. 1tth/9th/7th or moveable/fixed/dual signs)?
Else, what opposes/helps AL is seen from 7th from AL (dwara of AL) is understood.

As you have pointed out, the second from UL is most important in deciding the sustaining forces in teh marriage. Ensure you fast on Fridays to ensure prosperity in marriage.

Yes indeed we can, and in the same way that we analyze Badhaka from Lagna. In fact the Badhaka from AL is extremely important as it is the main obstacle to our external goals in life, i.e. career, etc.

Wud it be stretching the principle too far, to consider badhaka from Mo to be significant of obstacles to what our mind wants and then badhaka to AK (atmakaraka) from karaka lagna (and may be karakamsa) be applicable too in some way ?
