Dear Vistiji,
This was a very interesting lecture on Badhaka. You mentioned about the malefics in the badhaka sthana. What is the effect of benefics in the badhaka sthana? Is there a lecture where you have talked about that?
Thanks,
PJ

Dear Vistiji,
I came across a chart of a little boy with birth details 14th april 2004 @6.02 am hyderabad. His chart and most of the divisional charts are vargottam with sun exalted.(out of 16 charts i would say about 14).I was so curious. Is it good to have so many vargottam lagnas in all most all charts.Does him make too arrogant? Thanks

Dear PJ and Vaishnav, Namaskar
PJ
Yes, the ever popular Badhaka lecture speaks of this. Benefics in Badhaka sthana can remove badhaka and give rajayoga.
Vaishnav
Arrogance is a personality trait. Strength in divisional charts is eulogized by Parasara. Do read Brhat Parasara Hora Shastra.
For the Sun it means he is probably in the first degree of Aries. Check and you will probably see many planets in the initial degrees of their signs.
The scriptures state that in such a case, the child will see hurdles that once overcome they will experience rajayoga.
But, check these placements from arudha lagna to be sure of the end result…
Yours, Visti
