Karaka lagna and karakamsa
Stepping away from the everyday issues, todays lectures were on the atmakarak and its intricacies in the rasi and the navamsa. A special lecture on the atma-tattva and the beejas to correct any imbalances was given. Definitely worth to listen to.

Nameste Visti-ji. What is the significance of a vargottama Atmakaraka in Virgo - AK is Mars in the 4th from Gemini Lagna in Rasi chart and in the 6th from Aries lagna in D9 chart. Also in Rasi, AK Mars has parivarthana with lagnesh(Mercury)in the 6th(Scorpio). Will it be good to strengthen Mars or Mercury? (Mars is with DaraKaraka Moon): (Mercury is Pitrikaraka with Sun[GK])
Does Ketu in the 12th bhava(Leo) from Atmakaraka Mars in rasi chart give Moksha.

namaste vistiji,
I am always grateful to listen to your lessons.
1.what is the meaning of vargottama atmakaraka?
2.what is the difference when the same vargottama atmakaraka is exalted or debilitated?
3.how do you know the purpose of the soul depending on the atmakaraka’s placement in the chart, and in which area of life should the person work in order to complete the given task?
for example,in my case atmakaraka venus is vargottama in pisces and is in 10th house in rasi.
isn’t it again a question of free-will that the person has in order to do or not do a certain karma or task given in this lifetime indicated by the vargottama atmakaraka.
Or is there any free-will?
yours sincerely,
raghava

Dear Members, Namaskar
Anything Vargottama gives fame and abilities. If its atmakaraka this will be through spiritual pursuits. The strength of this planet then shows how much enjoyment arises from this.
The souls desire for this birth is seen from the navamsa lagnas placement from karakamsa. I.e. if Navamsa lagna is in the tenth from karakamsa, the atma has the desire for this birth to be one of karmayoga.
There is free-will but only a freed mind can really enjoy it fully. Spiritual people are well under way to do so.
Yours sincerely, Visti Larsen.

Dear Visti,
If vargottam AK is debilated- then does that mean that the enjoyment would be less?
If the navamsa lagna is the same as Karakamsa- then what may that suggest?
Also, what if the Vargottam atmakarak is debilated and retrograde?
Thanks and Regards;
Ankur.
