just a correction of my previous post--
the third question should read as-
3) does venus behave like an independent planet in 3rd house as mars and mercury are in parivartana?

Thanks.

Dear Sir,

when there is a parivartna yoga between lagna lord(mars) and 3rd house(mercury) which also happens to be atmakaraka and another planet(venus) is placed in the 3rd house as well, what sambandha does venus have with--
1)mars--the lagna lord placed in 3rd house?
2)with mercury placed in 1st house? or
3)does venus behave like an independent planet in 3rd house as mars and venus are in parivartana?
please clarify.

Many thanks,
Rupa.

Dear Visti,

Would you please clarify one point that I may have missed? Just as the Atmakaraka will not block a sign that it owns, I would expect that it would not block itself either. So if Saturn is AK and in Scorpio, 11th from it's moolatrikona sign, it won't block the 11th house. Do I have this right? Or does it still block the house but just not itself?

Thanks very much,
