Namaskar,
Wonderfull lecture on Arudhas and Bhavas, I will be working on principles given on these before listening to any further lecture now.
I would liek to ask you one thing you said that the person should earn from planets in 11th from Arudha Lagna, and one should guide the person to do that work, Why do you think people are straight away not doing that work, is it because of some obstruction. I have Mangal and Buddha in 11th and I straight aways went on to become an engineer in communication industry so it was easy for me but why do you think people are not able to find there destiny what would obstruct it so if we can find that then probably the remedy will also become easier to find.
Also You said that Venus in 12th from AL is not good for relationships unless it is weak in Navamsa, is that because then the person would not have much expectations in relationships so it would be easier to handle bad relationships.
Also what if the lord of 11th from AL goes to 12th …. what will it do over there…Is it like whatever he earns is expended …

Lagnesha is also important as this shows where the head will go and what the brain likes.
As for a connection between 11th and 12th houses from AL, this shows a person who may earn from investments.
Venus in 3rd, 6th or 12th from AL shows problems in relationships, and they become worse when Venus is strong in rasi/navamsa. I believe i explained why in this lecture.

i have another question regarding parvajya yoga.As you have told me that i have pravjya yoga in my chart,Is this cause which has made my family economically weak?you have also told that raj yoga is formed if planet are in combust as in chart of albert einstein.Do u see any rajyoga in my chart?what about 9th and 10th lord conjuctin in lagna.Does this parvjya yoga make me weak economically and i should renounce this material world.

Is there any significance when Lagnesha aspects 11th from AL.
In my case Lord of 11th from AL(Sun), Lagnesha and lord 12th from AL(Mercury) and Moon are aspecting 11th from AL. But still I am currently earning from Engineering. Why that can be ? also what a combination of Moon,Mercury and Sun mean for source of earnings also saturn aspects by rashi drishti.

You should not renounce, please avoid doing so if you are not capable of keeping the vows. The family economy will be affected if the lord of AL is joined the Pravrajya yoga.

When lagnesha aspects 11th from AL, the native will make money from their own efforts, and they should not be advised to enter into speculation. Engineers can earn money from many areas, and the planets associated with the 11th from AL shows the people who will give you money for your work as an engineer. I.e. lets say you were working as an engineer on a ship, then the 11th from AL can be associated with Pisces or Moon/Venus yogas as that is the place where you get your income from.
Moon-Merc yoga is usually medicine, hospitals, social services, etc.

Had one question regards to 11th from the AL in rasi:
In my rasi chart, Sagi lagna, Jupiter is in Kumbha. In many of your discussions you have mentioned that this position of Jup is akin to that in cancer, So considering that my AL is in Aries and the 11th being that of Kumbha with Jup..then does this indicate good earnings in the field of Business Consulting…this I infer based on the fact that Jup in Kumbha is like the guru of Shani and is more inclined to Philosophy or guidance and hence consulting or guiding would be the field to be.
Will appreciate your kind guidance in this area…as I am planning to open my own business in the area of business consulting.

AS my atmakarka Rahu is in navamsa lagna doesnt it make me a royal status. and 4th lord mars is aspecting 4th house ,when will i have my own house ?

I understand that if lagnesh aspects 11th from AL then native earns thru own effort. Does the same apply if lagna is 11th from AL?
What if BOTH the 11th and 12th from AL are ruled by the same planet and that planet is in 12th from AL?
Like capricorn lagna with lagnesh saturn in 2nd. So saturn is ruling both 12th and 11th from AL. AL in 3rd house pisces and so 12th from AL has lagnesh saturn in own house but saturn is also lord of 11th from AL with no planets in 11th from AL which is also the lagna..

My AL is Virgo,4th house with Rahu, my AK. Lagnesh is Budha in 10th with Moon, lord of 11 from AL and Ketu. I was in banking for 23 years. I am now studying Nursing and management, to seek work in Nurse mgmt or hospital mgmt. My ambition was to become a doctor, which was thwarted by my maternal uncle and mother on advice from a jyotisha. The premise was that I would not earn enough or very meagre. You have indicated that Moon-merc, is to do with medicine, hospitals. As 11 lord form AL is moon, showing groups/people and conjunct lagnesh(deb)& lord of AL and having drishti on AL.could I work in a hospital environment on the mgmt side?What would be the effects of the ketu conj and the 4/10 axis with Rahu in AL. I am now 47 years and Kala amrita yoga in my chart. I am always in bondage to either house or work- 4/10 axis? I was given a mantra of sadashiva by my guru which gave me respite from being confined to home for 2 years and feeling the effects of bandhana. 12 th from Karakamsha, Jupiter in 7th, Dhanus with Saturn my 8th and 9th lord.
I am also not being able to concentrate on Jyotish as I wish to due to educational preoccupations.

The placement of Sun and Saturn being exalted/debilitated in eleventh from AL is beneficial for wealth and income. Lagnesh is Sun again so again the earnings must come from his/her own efforts. Sun specifically indicates earnings from working with government whilst Saturn relates to earnings from industrial corporations… Wonder why?
The exaltation of Saturn is helpful in raising the natives self-esteem caused by the neecha lagnesh.

Ninth and tenth lords joined is definitely one of the best yogas, as it causes Dharmakarmadhipati yoga. There is no doubt about this. But, it doesn’t guarantee rajayoga unless well posited. As i warned, the pravrajya yoga is there and will be a hinder.
However, your running a brilliant Venus mahadasa from 1994-2014 which is followed by a wonderful Sun Mahadasa from 2014-2020. This is because Venus is combust by the Sun and these two are breaking the Pravrajya yoga in your chart. So congratulations on the period ahead. Other than that i hope you perform Rudrabhisheka to mitigize the effects of the periods following 2020, as the Pravrajya yoga will become strong then with the advent of Moon and later Mars mahadasa.

This is what I understood from the lectures.
Planet or lord of 7th from Arudha is like somebody holding the door lock. Make him or person represented by the planet your friend and he will open the door else he will keep the door closed. Sincere apologies if I am wrong.

My question is that is this planet always an obstacle or also supports the rise of Arudha automatically sometimes.
If it blocks then we come to the question of how to remove that block, Who will help to remove that block. Will the 7th lord help ?

Dear visti…saturn in lagna and mars in the 7th is said to be unmada yoga. But what if saturn is exalted in AL and mars is in the 7th from AL. Does this make people perceive the native as mad eventhough the person in question is not really so?

I know you have said that Venus 3rd, 6th, or 8th from the AL causes separation or relationship problems, but are there exceptions to this? For example, my AL is in the 3rd house in Libra, and Venus is sixth from this in the 8th house and exalted. However, Venus is also the lord of both my AL and UL. UL is in tenth in Taurus. Venus is also strong in my chart, it is exalted in the navamsa and it is also the AK. Will these factors make the situation better or worse, as you said the strength of Venus is significant.

If such a graha is mitra it definitely helps. But, that graha should really be a benefic like strong Moon, Jupiter, strong Venus, or an exalted planet to truly unlock the door to the world. If no planets are there see the lord. Retrograde planets here are a big bother.
If you worship that graha in the form of Agni it can remove the obstacles as well.

Moon is healing. The various types of healing then revolve around the yogas with the Moon. I.e. Moon with Mercury gives medicine or specifically herbal medicine as we know with ayurveda. Mars give surgeons, etc.
A new type of doctors have emerged namely the chemists and lab rats. These are brought about through the yogas of the liquid planets (Moon and Venus) and their yogas with other planets.. normally Mars (heat).

Thanks for your response. The individual has deep desire to do business and be independent . Rasi has yogakark 5/10 lord Mars exalted with Sun in 7th house but Dashamsa has 7th lord Jupiter debilitated with Venus in 5th house. Though Jupiter has neecha banga as Lord of house where Jupiter is placed(Saturn) is in kendra. However in D10 A7 is with debilitated Moon and Rahu(shakti Yog) even though debilitated moon also has neecha banga.
Also 3 planets in D10 namely Mars,Jupiter and Mercury are in Anantha Amsa and Venus in Isana Amsa. None of the planets are in Indra/Kubera amsa. Keeping all this in mind it seems the individual despite strong rasi to do business, may be in service.Is this conclusion correct ? However if Lagna in rasi is moved from Vi to Leo then there are strong business indicators. However it is unlikely that time of birth was off by 7 minutes. Whats your take on this, again birth details are 4th Feb 1977;tOB 17:47;Delhi.

I thought that since it is the lord of the AL and is situated in the 7th from AL, the result is the same. In general what is the effect of AL lord being in the 7th house from AL.

This is my own chart. I work for a big4 consulting firm in US and spend most of my time consulting clients on how best they can retain and increase profits from customers. I am statistician + MBA by academics but not from the bright schools.As a child i spend a lot of time contemplating on the divide between nations and wealth. I conceptualised some unique business models which would bring capitalism and philathrophy closer. Education,Social awareness, Poverty and child labor distress me and i feel the root cause is inability to engage talent in right problems.I started picking astrology when i was in college from my uncle and subsequently gained knowledge from reading Notes of PV Narasimha Rao in Boston.I would not say i am an avid learner…my learning was to somehow engage with my vision of the world and nations and test if astro can provide evidence. If malefic is there then it is like rusted lock, hence action plus some effort is need. Here in both cases action is a common one. At this juncture I request Guru ji’s help to know the various required actions by the self with respect to different planets placed in seventh from Al or the lord (no planet is placed in seventh from Al) and also the effect of different signs on the action or key, when one has Al lord in seventh from Al.

sir i have libra ascendant in rashi chart and my arudha lagna is in 10th house from ascendant and in cancer rashi… moon is placed with rahu and venus in aries… 7th from arudha lagna is capricorn rashi and its lord saturn is in 2nd house in scorpio.. do u think its a good placement of lord of 7th house from arudha lagna. also saturn in vargottama in my chart.. it is present in the 7th house in the navamsha..

Will a retro-debilitated Saturn with the Arudha Lagna(11th from Gemini lagna) make the MKS of Saturn more pronounced? Or will it help to overcome that bad placement?
YOu have mentioned Strong benefics in the 7th from AL will unlock the door to the world. I have Jupiter and Venus in Libra as the 7th from AL(5th from Gemini lagna). Sounds good to me,BUT Jupiter is bhadakesh & cursed by aforementioned Saturn and Rahu(in Aquarius). Also Venus is retrogade(Exhalted in D9).
Will i be able to open the door …or will i have to struggle? How will this affect me during Jupiter Dasha??

Can the different dashas be also seen from the Arudha Lagna perspective?
For example will Narayana Dasha Rasi being in 2nd from AL bring opportunities that will sustain the image for the better?
If the Vimshottari Dasha lord is in the 7th from AL could that mean that the mind is now more able to explore the world outside oneself?

Some people need to experience curses whilst holding high positions such as presidency, being a CEO, etc. So also once the door opens the curse may manifest.
Retrogression does make MKS more pronounced as the grahas desire becomes stronger.
As for Dasa’s and Arudhas, we must see the dasas from EVERY perspective in the chart, i.e. lagna, arudha, varnada, etc. So yes. Parasara speaks about this in his chapter on interpreting Chara dasa.

The yoga between Saturn and Mars can be detrimental for the partners mental health, therefore i recommend performing Kumbha vivaha before getting married.

When AL and UL has joined a debilitated planet (mars neecha) does this mean that through-out life the person will find hard to arise or is there a way out to this. FOr e.g. reciting mantras etc will it help the situation or is this a lifetime issue the person has to deal with?

It’s really great to keep listening your lectures. I got some clue for my above question. Please let me know if I am on right path to analyze the doubt.
1. Being vargottam any planet will work like in lagna hence in my case Guru dasa should benefit me.Being retro results might not be easy to come. But also being retro it shows I am desiring for the results and hence I will add more efforts.
2. But same Guru is retro and maran karak awastha in rashi chart (from dhanu lagna) hence physically I will be tested in Guru dasa.
3. Being 11th from AL it will draw resources but only after delay/struggle.
