I have the latest version and have been able to download the Jagannatha Drekkana. I still cannot open the siddamsa pdf. I have d/l all the other files, pdf. format from this site. Dear Sir,
In my D-10 chart the second lord venus is placed in lagna-Aries and is being aspected by the nodes from the seventh house by graha drishti.does it mean that i will complete my masters with difficulty or i may not get into one at all.I am trying to get into masters now,so will i be successful.

In D-24 if the 9th House is Kumbha and we ascertain the Rahu to be the lord because of its association with more planets, how do we then apply the rule of Nodes bring end to education.
On a personal note if you can comment, do you think I will be able to do the masters. I am thinking of doing the MBA and looking in D-24 the 2nd house lord is Moon which is exalted in Taurus along with Venus. So it looks a good combination to my untrained eye. Also with Venus - Moon dasa coming next year it might be the right time.

The second house will show all masters degrees. Multiple influences on it can show multiple degrees.

Check for Rasi dristi of the nodes on the second house. That is more telling of the difficulties faced in both Masters (2nd house) and Ph.D (7th house).

The nodes are not devoid of subjects. You will find in such cases that the native studies something very technical or abstract. Many computer engineers arise from Gemini lagna in D24, as the 9th lord Rahu is joined Ketu.
Based on your assessment i would find that taking up an MBA is an excellent idea.

I got a chance a to go thru’ this article. It is interesting. I do have a couple of questions.
Are there any other significance of lagna, 5 and 9th house in D-24
If either lord of 4,2,9,7 is with nodes - then should we advise them not to study beyond the significations of that house as indicated in D-24
Are there anything similar to your explanation of “grahana yoga” in Rabindranath Tagore chart that can over come the nodes. Are yogas like Dharmakarmadhipathi, Viparita Rajya Yoga involving the lord of 2,4,7,9 house give any benefits to the native.

visti ji,would you please explain as what are the combination or yogas one must look into siddhamsa chart for study of law and these days since specialisation divides the course and paves way for new work.as in law the study of civil ,criminal and corporate law..how does one determines it by siddamsa…
as in mba marketing,HR,international business…
as venus governs mba and are the other planets which directs the native towards specialisation…..hope to get a reply..

Para Vidya is specifically seen from fifth house.
You understood correctly. We should advise remedies for the nodes, i.e. Ganesha worship.
Jupiter can break the nodes malign influence.
Arnab
Jupiter indicates law. The specialization should be seen from the planets influencing Jupiter. I.e. civil law is related to Moon, whilst corporate is Mercury (business) and criminal is Mars (protection).
Similarly try to identify the karakas of the various specializations. This will be a good exercise.

Namaskar, many thanks for your reply, however I am not sure if I got the answer to the question that if a node is 4th or 9th lord then will education stop at that level ?
It’s amazing to see the vimasottari dasa correlate to the life events as per the d-24 chart. I have Sa in the 10th house in D-24 and during the Shani antardasha I got a job while in college ( against great odds ) which effectively put an end to any plans for higher education at that time.
Do you think that is correct interpretation as 10th house in D-24 is maraka to 9th House and will end the education.

Like u pointed out ,nodes have a rashi dristi on the 2nd house.that explains the difficulties i am facing.saturn and debilated mars also has rashi dristi on second house from the fourth house,mars being the 8th lord. saturn has graha drishti as well and is the 10th and 11th lord and i am currently running saturn mahadasha and saturn antara,will it be right to say that i may be successful in getting into masters? please also suggest a remedy to overcome the difficulties faced because of the nodes.

Your interpretation is correct. Nodes will end the education at the level mentioned, unless Jupiter influences.

The only planet which can decisively end education is the second lord from the particular house, i.e. 3rd lord ends masters education.
Install the Narada Ganesha Yantra in your study and you will be able to overcome any obstacle in your education. Further worship Ganesha in the form of your Rasi-Chandra position.

My advise is to worship Ganesha with the Ganesha Damana Mantras to ensure your education will not be obstructed. Yes nodes will cause a problem.

Can you please share with us an example of how nodes can end education and also another example where jupiter by rasi dristi can overcome the nodes. I think the ‘jupiter concept’ is not covered in the article - not sure. I appreciate your thoughts and time in doing so.

I like to understand the principles - I’ll appreciate it - if you can please take sometime and answer my queries.
In D24
1. 4th house signifies primary education
9th house signifies bachelor education
2nd house signifies masters
7th house signifies PhD
2. For a person to move from primary education to bachelors - 4th house should be related to 9th house
For a person to move from bachelors to masters - 9th house should be related to 2nd house
and so on for PhD.
3. If 4th house lord is in 9 or 9th house lord is in 4 in D24 - then the person will continue education. What if there is no relation and nodes are not affecting? Will they still continue.
4. But for any reason the lord of 4, 9, 2, or 7 is with nodes - then education should not pursued beyond the stage indicated by that planet.
5. But Jupiter can overcome this by rashi dristi or retrograde jupiter aspect.
6. Once this stage is overcome by Jupiter the person will continue to study the next stages. Have I understood this correctly.
7. Aspects to 4,9,2,7 and lord of 4,9,2,7 in D24 indicate line of education.
8. Badakesa will cause obstruction during its periods to progression in studies.
Am I correct in assuming the following and please add any other points that will help me understand.

The ascendent of d24 in my chart changes on a time change of just 2 seconds from libra to scorpio. However,if Libra is taken as ascendent the following correlation occurs.
I did my graduartion (B. Tech Computer Science) in mahadasha of Mercury (The lord of house 9, gemini).Also i did M. tech in Mahadasha of Ketu. the owher of 2nd house, Scorpio. Further i started my phd in mahadahsa of Ketu and Antardaha of Jupiter. My 7th house lord Mars is conjunct with both of these planets. Also I feel that mercury and Ketu, mars may be significator of the (Engg. -Computer science).
Does this indicate that libra is more likely to be the ascendent of d24.

What exactly does the 4th lord Venus being in the 12th house imply in terms of education? This person also has Saturn and Ketu in the ninth house, although Ketu is in its own sign in Pisces, and the lord of the ninth house is in the 6th house in its own sign (Jupiter). This is all in the rasi. She is only 12 years old, but is doing quite well in school, however based on these placements I am wondering if this will continue. In the d24 her fourth house is empty, but its lord Venus is in the fifth house and joined Rahu and Ketu, and in the ninth house is Saturn in Pisces, whose lord Jupiter is in the 8th house. Will these negative placements disrupt her education entirely or cause serious problems? For example, will she make it to college?

Because the Badhakesh and 12th house are associated with your post graduate degree, i am confident that you will be able to pursue an MBA in a foreign country. You will do well, and the oportune time seems to be in 2009. No need for remedies for this in my view. I do recommend the advise given on this site though:

Fourth house can show many other things than education. Check where Mercury is placed from the fourth lord in the Rasi chart to know what that placement in the 12th will mean for education. No doubt d24 plays the most important role in deciding what will happen in education. Jupiter is aspecting the fourth house and is the ninth lord, hence she is very likely to go to college, but it will require a lot of hard work due to Saturn in the ninth.

1)how do we see the breaks between the degrees–for eg i had a one year break before i got into college and a long break before pursuing post-graduation? also
2)when there are many planets aspecting the house in question(9th/2nd/7th)how do we determine which planets actually give the line of education?

I would be highly grateful if you can answer my following queries:
1. does capricorn lagna in d-24 indicate a masters degree related to technical education as rahu being the 2nd lord is joined ketu.
2. in my chart, with capricorn lagna of d-24, mercury is the lord of 9th house. mercury is joined retrograde saturn in 7th house. i got admission in medical school right after high school during jup-mars dwisaptati dasha. its because mars is aspecting the 9th house in d-24. though i have always had major problems doing the course because lord of 9th house is joined retrograde saturn causing difficulties. and also because 2nd house from 9th house is 8th from the moon and moon doesnt like 8th from it. am i right in my interpretations?
3. i am in the final year now with one year internship after this if i pass my exams in nov-dec. does the retrograde saturn make matters worse? when will i finally be able to pass out?
4. if saturn is the lord of 2nd house then does the conjunction of 2nd lord and 9th lord mean no breakage in the continuation of education? also there is rashi aspect of jupiter on 2nd house. is it true that my post graduation will start only by venus-mercury dasha as mercury is aspecting the 2nd house?
5. how do i ascertain the nature of post graduate studies? will it me post graduation in medicine only as its the same combination of saturn and mercury, only difference is that the lord is saturn in this case. so would influence of mercury indicate MBA?
or, should i take rahu as the lord and ketu with it would indicate a technical line.
or, jupiter and venus aspect on 2nd house would mean masters related to law(jupiter) or entertainment(venus).
or will i do all of these courses indicated?
