   Dear Sri Vistiji,

   Namaste.

   I have a Clarification as detailed below.
   1.What is the Effect of Virodh Argala Of a Benefic.
   2.For example,For Aries Lagna,Jupiter in 9th(Sagattarius) And Venus in 7th(Libra).In this case,Both are benefics.
   What is the role and effect of Virodh Argala by Venus on the 8th(scorpio).
   3.Also Kindly tell the net results to be experienced,by explaining the role and effect of Jupiter and venus on 8th(Scorpio).

   Dear E.Krishna Prasad, Namaskar.
   Virodha argala will try to obstruct the indications of a house. Whether its an obstruction from a well meaning friend (benefic) or a person your rather be without (malefic). Example: Jupiter in the ninth shows how the past (ninth house) and obstructing the future (fifth house). Here well meaning gurus, and advisories will try to block any new undertakings made.
   However, because Guru is also the karaka for the fifth house, it will end up forcing its GOOD indications on the house, i.e. the person will be forced to have kids, or take some good advise. Its a blessing, but will become forced on the native because of Virodhargala.

   When we talk of the eighth house and ones longevity and dustha karma, the argala of Jupiter on the eighth from the ninth shows how good dharma and advisors ensure longer life and freedom from disease, debts, etc. However with Venus in the seventh obstructing the same, it shows how the natives desire for the opposite sex, or the influence of the wife and her desires can obstruct this good dharma for the sake of pursuing a more comfortable life materialistically… Venus is rajasic hence the materialistic trend.

   Is it mandatory that for a planet to give virodhargala on a house, the corresponding argala givin housse should also be occupied by a planet? In other words is it the case that virodhargala does not come into play if there is no corresponding argala?

   For Example, Considering the chart as follows.
   Lagna:Aries,Taurus:Moon,Cancer:Mars(Debib),Leo:Sun+saturn,Virgo:
   Mercury+Ketu,Libra:Venus,Sagattarius:Jupiter(Retrograde),
   Pisces:Rahu.
   What is Role &Effects of Planets Causing Primary/Virodh Argala
   for following cases.
   If Planet is
   (a)Debilitated
   (b)Attains Cancellation of Debilitation
   (c)Retrograde.
   Debilitated&Retrograde.
   (d)Attains Cancellation of Debilitation,But Retrograde.
